Many educators and schools are honouring Black History Month by exploring the rich history, achievements, and stories of Black Canadians, aligning with our commitments to the BC Curriculum. The provincial Social Studies curriculum is structured around Big Ideas, Content, and Competencies that guide teachers in their planning and presentation.
